The newest innovation from Invisalign® is Invisalign Teen®. Geared towards responsible teens and young adults, Invisalign Teen works for patients who have all their permanent teeth and no baby teeth left. The unique patented technology of the Invisalign system will improve your appearance and straighten your teeth through custom, almost invisible aligners.
With Invisalign Teen, a series of clear, removable aligners will move your teeth into the right position. Patients wear each aligner for about two weeks, which moves the teeth enough so that the next set of aligners can fit into the mouth. In no time, patients can actually see straighter teeth and the transformation in their smiles.
Imagine getting a sensational smile without needing braces to straighten crooked teeth. Invisalign Teen is practically imperceptible, which means no one will even notice that you are straightening your teeth. Since the aligners are removable, dental care is easy, and you can feel free to eat or drink anything you like.
With Invisalign Teen, normal life doesn’t have to change. Because the aligners have a thin, custom design, there is no disruption to speech or other activities. Patients can play sports and any musical instrument with little discomfort. To experience success, you must wear the aligners for the teeth to move into a gorgeous, straight smile. Dr. Azar recommends patients wear the aligners at least 20 hours a day for optimal results.

Difference Between Invisalign® and Invisalign® Teen
Invisalign Teen is quite similar to Invisalign for adults, but there are two significant differences between the two treatments:
Aligner Indicator
Unlike Invisalign for adults, the aligners used in Invisalign Teen have a tiny dot on the back. That dot will change color from blue to clear to white depending on how often a teenager wears his or her aligners. This serves as a visual reminder for teenagers to wear their aligners consistently.
Replacement Aligners
Teens are often more active and may be less responsible with their belongings compared to adults. Therefore, Invisalign Teen patients receive more replacement aligners than adult patients to account for potential loss or damage.
Other than these differences, Invisalign treatment for both adults and teens is essentially the same. Invisalign can be used to treat the same kinds of dental issues, and the materials used are identical for both age groups.
